Unified Solution ending Violence and exploitation
Sexual abuse, trafficking, and gender-based violence (GBV) pose a severe and pervasive threat to children and young adults in Uganda. These interconnected issues are deeply rooted in societal inequalities, poverty, and cultural norms that perpetuate violence. Children are vulnerable to sexual exploitation, including defilement, forced marriage, and trafficking, often perpetrated by those known to them. The consequences are devastating, leading to physical and psychological trauma, unwanted pregnancies, and limited access to education and opportunities.
